Should have bought ten years ago. It can be a measuring cup, braising bowl, mixing bowl, jug, whatever you want. Oatmeal: A serving no longer overflows like a small bowl in the microwave. And the handle stays cool. Vegetables: Easy for two in the microwave. Everyone needs these.

This 32 ounce glass measuring cup was purchased specifically for Anchor Hocking branding. We have other Anchor Hocking measuring cups that are great for heating in the microwave. As you can see from my photos I did not receive the glass measuring cup from Anchor Hocking. There's no Anchor logo under the spout, no circled dimensions, and there's no usual imprint on the bottom telling me it's safe for microwave use, etc. The glass feels thick but you can't really tell if it's actually safe for…

Good build quality, easy to read markings, pours cleanly enough with no drips or liquid running down the outside of the mug. The glass is of reasonable thickness and perfectly withstands microwaves and hot and cold liquids. After a few months of intensive use, the marking is resistant to hand washing and the dishwasher. I have been using this company's products for many years and always get good service from them. It's a bit heavier than my Corning 4 cup, but that seems to be because it's well made and strong.
