Quarter socks, the best option I've tried lately. They're easy to put on, stay in place, don't leave marks on the skin, and are the "right” height for athletic shoes. They have some cushioning AND structured arch support. They came out of their first wear and wash with no sign of pilling, which makes them better than previous UA short socks I've tried. This is the height of everyday socks that I find most useful for most of the year. They're big enough to protect the back of the ankle from shoes, big enough not to be eaten by loose sneakers, but short enough to avoid unsightly excess material or overheating. At the moment this is my favorite version of men's socks of this height. highlighted.
