This is a very functional item that is very easy to assemble. The quality seems good and durable but I wish it was a little higher. Also, the picture of the assembled product is inaccurate as it shows the protrusions on either side of the second shelf. In fact, the second shelf only has a ledge on the left side and not on the right side. I assume you can put a larger game console or computer tower on the driver's side. It's okay, but I'd prefer it like the picture. We put this stand in our children's playroom and it is perfect for a 28" LCD TV and DVD player. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. Mr Z
