Review on πŸ”§ Versatile Woodworking Furniture Connector: Unlock Your Crafting Potential! by Lamar Marshall

Very durable and comfortable.

I installed this on my desk to serve as a third hand. Because of its shape, I can place custom sizes in multiple positions there, giving me the best working angle. I often have to use my Dremmel to work on different sized and oddly shaped pieces of metal, so it's great to have a vise to hold the object while I sand it down. Also protects my hands from burns when trying to hold it. Pros: * Heavy duty. Heavy-duty steel for durability.* Sturdy clamp holds tight, but it's not a vise, so hand-tighten only (ie, no lever at the end).* Adjustable sides. You can pin something very thin on one side and thick on the other. It's handy.* Deep walls so you can hold fairly large items before they pop out. Hold her too. Cons: * Large size on my desktop. It's quite large, but worth it to avoid burning your hands.* Slight play in the collar. It should adjust freely from side to side, but also has a slight up and down angle. I'm not sure if this would be good for those making picture frames etc as the wood used for this tends to taper towards the fairly thin inside of the frame so it can be a problem if it's puffed rises. * There is no lever on the clamp, so just by hand. Good for making wood corners - as you don't want to overtighten it, but as a third hand metal grinder I want to be sure it can handle it. :) Overall I'm very happy with it for my use. Roughness can be an issue when working with small parts, but for my use it's quite adequate.

Pros
  • Angle Clamps
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price
