I needed an extra ottoman to put the sofa/armchair in the living room. This one was great because: - Fairly cheap - Doesn't take up much space - Very easy to clean as it's not a fabric surface and - The top is liftable, has storage space inside the cube - Easy to take apart and it all fits on the side the lids/tops. This item arrived in a cap sized package. Things to know about storage: If you plan to store heavy items in it, note that the top of this item will lift up like a lid on a box, so you won't be able to lift it. way to move it. You have to take it by the sides. And the sides are not very strong as the entire item folds down to the size of the lid. I don't store anything heavy in it so it's not a problem and I only move it to suck it. All in all, it is a very practical and attractive item. I highly recommend this item. mine had no weird smell at all as some other reviewers have mentioned.
