This beats the boring plain green or black covered planners that the school provides. I love the cover. It is thick and seems like it will hold up during the year. Inside, I like that it gives a monthly overview before the weeks. It is set up for 9 periods, so the blocks are smaller than a 6-period planner. The reason that I only gave it 4 stars is that it is not 8x10 as stated in the title. However, the true size is stated in the item description and I didn't pay close attention to that so that is on me. I tend to tuck regular sized paper like students papers or agendas from staff meets in my planner and this planner is too small to do that without the paper sticking out of it.
