The two I have work great and complement my dashcams well. There are several free Android apps that can be used to connect this device to your mobile phone via a micro USB charging port. This is especially useful when you want to quickly view dash cam footage on your phone, whether those footage were recorded on a mini SD or micro SD card, which fortunately works for the vast majority of dash cams today. These devices obviously have more features. used as that specific use but that's what I use them for and why are they in the glove box in each of my cars.
