This is exactly what I needed. I don't even have to take the card out of the reader. I just pull one end out, pop it into my phone and copy my files, put the cap back on (can't forget that). Transfer it to your desktop, remove the other top, plug it in and voila! Did. Just please. Small enough to fit in your pocket and it's fast. Regardless of the type or speed of card I put in, it fit right away. I am very happy.

I no longer have card slots built into my computer or connected to a printer, but a USB adapter replaces most of that hardware. And it's not limited to a few gigabytes like it used to be. I've used it to transfer from my phone's 64GB external card and it's much faster than a regular wired USB connection. I haven't used it from a phone to external storage, but note that it fits Samsung exactly as it leaves the microSD side against the port's flip cover.

For $6 I wasn't expecting much. To be honest I only needed it for one time use. To move some videos (TV shows and movies) to SD card for my car. After receiving this reader, I plugged it into a USB port along with an inserted SD card. Mind you, that was on Linux. Everything popped up like a removable disk.
