Difficult to assemble, expected more for the premium

Love the aesthetic but a bit small for large cats (my 14 lb boy hangs on the ledge at either end of the top and middle platforms and tries to lie down). Putting it together was a bit of a hassle, mainly because some of the holes weren't drilled correctly - some of the holes with the plastic in the hole were crooked, so the screw ended up crooked, making it difficult to align/join different parts properly together. Not a fan of the middle shelf, just a piece of plywood placed over a couple of studs feels unsteady and moves too much for my liking. I also don't like that the big screws are visible, wish they had come with covers for those not covered by mats.
