They looked ok when I first opened the box but the locking channel design is terrible. Unlike a pair of channel locks, which have vertical channels that hold the jaws in one position, these pliers have a pathetic excuse for notches to hold the jaws in the desired position. They just don't work. If you apply pressure they just pop open and become useless to actually unscrew the stuck filter. An absolutely terrible product. Just terrible.
