Purchased these 'rain', 'garden', 'muck' shoes to use for rainy days and specifically for wearing while walking the dog. The reviews were favorable and for the cost I felt it was worth taking a chance. I have to admit, the shoe was way better than I expected quality wise. I went with the black pat/leather because as others said, it adds a wee bit more class to the concept of rain shoes. I just got so haven't had the opportunity to wear yet but there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow so I'll be able to stylishly walk my dog and evaluate.I did want to mention that the shoe really looks nice, isn't too heavy. I feared that they might be clunky because they sort of remind you of a faux Dansko clog shoe. For some reason some reviews indicate that the back of the rain shoe had the tab to make pulling on easier. The pair I received did not come equipped as such but pulling the shoe on does not seem to be an issue (easy on easy off). I love my Sperry's short boots but they are a chore to pull on which is why I brought these shoes as alternative rain foot ware. I like a cute shoe as much as the next woman, but my motto is comfort before cute. With these I get the best of both worlds.
