I often use flannel towels. I have cheap and good ones. I ignored the reviews. All flannel towels lose their lint first. etc. But these plates are really incredibly thin and tough. They amazingly fade on the first cold wash, fading from navy blue to light blue. Even after dropping a few lint filters full of lint, they still have pills everywhere; They look like someone's ancient goodwill slurs. After the first wash they became even thinner and stiffer. I expect they will fall apart completely on the second wash. They fit my 4 inch futon but the thought that they would fit a deep mattress makes me hallucinate. These are absolutely the cheapest, shittiest, lousiest fully tattooed "flannel" sheets ever made. Don't buy them at any price. It's easier to throw away your dollar bills than tossing out those big sheets, less than a landfill.
