The scheduling part of the software is unreliable, I'm not sure why it's crashing but I suspect your phone needs to be connected to your home network or at least a cellular network at all times for the schedule to run target. I was growing medical marijuana and going camping where we had no signal, my Geeni Smart Extender decided to ignore my schedule and turn on the lights 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while I was away resulting in my Plants burned out and caused me a lot of trouble, potentially ruining several months of work and thousands of dollars worth of product. That's because the company would rather cut corners and not build in power strip storage so the schedule can be stored locally on the device itself. I deeply regret having purchased this product.
