Great value as the adapter hose alone is $8 at Revain. The product was larger and much more powerful than I expected. The filter is 2 7/16 inches in diameter and 10 1/2 inches in overall diameter. It would take a hammer to break it. I didn't have bad water to test it or the right gear. I can say that the water in my area has become tastier than straight from the tap. If there are no problems in the future I will buy this filter again. Remember: Before connecting, drain the water from the bearing to remove deposits and discoloration. Also, always turn on the water in the camp slowly as sometimes the pressure can be extreme and damage your system. A pressure regulator on a faucet is a good idea.
