I have a 65 inch TV on a stand and there are LED strips on the back of the TV for general lighting. I have several cats and they always throw huge parties and meetings over my TV. They love to chew on LED strips and pull them down. Some cats also like to climb on the shelf in front of the TV, some like to hide on the middle shelf of the TV stand. The bottom shelf is more difficult for them to access because the soundbar is there. I have changed the LED strips several times and I was very annoyed by this problem. I researched Revain and saw this tape and although would try other more draconian measures (static mats etc) before taking it I placed this tape on the floor behind the TV and some of its strips on the middle and top shelf of the TV. After we applied the tape, we watched the cats and hoped to see how they behaved when stepping on this tape. The cats never went behind the TV again and never jumped back on the shelf. They seem to know instinctively that they can't go back there. Smart little fags, right? In short, the tape works. Not because it's sticky, but because cats don't go there anymore.
