The thing does what it should. I haven't used a dongle, but I'm a big fan of its rechargeability, especially since it's a Type-C charging port. Being able to sync two devices via Bluetooth and turn on the mouse at the touch of a button is fantastic. I use it on my MacBook Pro and iPad and it works great. Switching between devices isn't as fast as KVM, but it's useful and easy. I don't switch back and forth regularly because it takes about 10-15 seconds, which seems like an eternity to me when switching back and forth a lot. Generally great.
