I've tried half a dozen different flower trimming shears and this one has always worked the best. They work much better than classic scissors because your fingertips are right in your work, making it easy and quick to wield the blades over and over again (as some of you know!). Don't think about using a different design again. There are similar designs out there but I don't know of any that are as good. All-metal cases are cool, but their shape isn't great for long-term use. They fit my fingers well and my fingers never hurt. Hydropharm has similar ones but they stick together quicker than these and the blades aren't as precise as these. Fiskars has a few of these, but they're not as robust. I've even tried some with ceramic blades but I always prefer them. The sharp ends are very precise, which is important for tiny, sticky sheets. When I use them, I alternate several pairs of tips soaked in rubbing alcohol, which makes it even easier to keep the tips from sticking together. So far, for about five years, my springs have not broken. One piece of advice I would leave to others is to store and store them with the little plastic lids that come with them, which look more like shipping packaging than anything practical. I dropped a few on my concrete floor in the basement and of course the ultrafine dots don't like it. I would prefer Cooper to supply them with reusable tip caps. Luckily, they are inexpensive and represent tremendous value for money.
