My clutch pedal pad was so worn the upper lip cracked that sometimes the pad slipped off leaving just a slick metal pedal. This made it easy for wet shoes or shoes with little or no tread to slip off the pedal. The new pad fits perfectly (Subaru Outback Sport 2006) and after seeing the difference I plan to buy this pad again to replace the brake pedal pad. The shipping price was a bit more than I expected for a small piece of rubber, but for me it was well worth it, especially for a clutch pedal where traction on the pedal is vital to safe operation
