Simply snaps onto the pedal to install. Fits 2017 Subaru Impreza (with 5 speed transmission) just like the original. I hope this one lasts longer than the original. The original pedal pad only lasted me 3 years, although at this price I can't say that's the worst thing in the world.

This pedal cover was purchased to replace a broken one that fell off. I never realized the importance of those little rubber sleeves until mine disappeared. My foot kept slipping off the pedal. - Dangerous! It was cheap and super easy to assemble. Problem solved!

Fits great. To attach, push it up from the bottom of the pedal so the blades on the back fit into the back of the pedal. Then make sure the top folds over the top of the pedal just far enough to snap and hold it onto the pedal. Much better than using bare metal which is quite slippery when wet.

Subaru OEM parts! Fits my '06 Impreza 2.5i like it was made for it! Wait, that was made to go there, and every base model MT Subies from 2004-2011, and probably over a year old, they don't change the design much on these. IMPORTANT: If you are looking for a pedal for the WRX or STi, this pedal is NOT for your model, keep looking.

My clutch pedal pad was so worn the upper lip cracked that sometimes the pad slipped off leaving just a slick metal pedal. This made it easy for wet shoes or shoes with little or no tread to slip off the pedal. The new pad fits perfectly (Subaru Outback Sport 2006) and after seeing the difference I plan to buy this pad again to replace the brake pedal pad.
