I got the impression that the silicone was still peeling off the bamboo so I was a bit disappointed that mine didn't have that feature (I'm germphobic). Otherwise they appear to be good, well made spoons as far as I can tell. I take comfort in knowing that my 23-month-old's old plastic spoons are not releasing any toxic chemicals into his body. The mouthpiece seems a little large for what it's used to, but that's what it can grow into, although I'm curious how they fit small baby mouths comfortably. I haven't had them for so long and my little one is much better at eating with his old spoons but then again he will learn to get used to it. I like spoons but I find the price too high. I will update my rating if anything significant changes to add or remove a star.
