I've had this vent mount for a long time and it was a bit tatty before one of the clips on the back broke. I then tried several different phone mounts of different types (dashboard, windshield, etc.) in the same price range as this one and none worked as well as this one. My cell phone kept falling off while driving. I never realized how dependent I was on the phone mount until I couldn't just turn Google Maps off during music and look at it every time. Should I then let Google Maps pause my music every 30 seconds? nope So I bought a new Bracketron and was damn nice to see my phone while driving. PROS: The magnet is strong and thin enough that I hardly notice it in my flexible case. Once you tighten the ball joint on the back to the desired angle, your phone will always look the way you want it. CONS: Small leg supporting it at the bottom of the vent. can leave scratches, which is a shame. It could have been avoided if you glued a piece of felt or cloth to the sole of your foot by simply spitting in here. The clip on the back can break over time if you're not careful, but it took me a while.
