I like this kettle for several reasons: 1- The temperature control is a nice touch. Ideal for tea and french press. 2 - Boil water so fast 3 - The blue light is just sooo beautiful, special. at night.4- The glass teapot looks so stylish. That's why I bought this kettle. I looked around and tried 4 different teapots. I like this and Miroko. One below and one above Why I don't like it: 1- Listen for yourself, a very loud squeak. It beeps after it boils and when it turns off. (That would be great for clumsy and forgetful people. I'm not the biggest fan) 2- the metal tea container bangs on the side when you try to open the kettle (tip: I always leave the lid open. Never had a problem ) Might be easier to open the lid.
