I love using old hardware in a portable format and this little guy makes me happy. USB-C ports are very rare on my site, I use the ports I have every day, usually it's a fast USB stick connection and fast data transfer, with this kit you can connect m.2 sata ssd (ex WD blue 1TB) and now your hub (which takes up the same space, has so many useful features that I don't have to turn it off, and it's even fun to run games on it). The speeds are high, similar to your internal SATA drives, you also get 3 USB 3.0 ports, an ethernet jack and an HDMI out which is perfect for a laptop but also works great on my desktop. Installation is quick and easy, love it, such a cool concept, definitely looking forward to seeing what else they release. Keep in mind that this is not compatible with m.2 nvme, but I certainly hope something like this comes out soon. I haven't used this SSD in so long I love having it available in my hub, coolest thing ever. Definitely recommended!
