Despite the fact that it is very soft, absolutely no "erasing" is intended. The instruction "the hotter the better" should be to activate the face makeup so that it melts like a normal face wash, but this only leaves traces of makeup, eyeliner and mascara under the eyes. The only way to remove my makeup after using the eraser was to use my standard method of putting Johnson's Baby Shampoo on the cloth and rubbing again with that very soft expensive little pink cloth.
