Value for money, belt to last for many years

This is a fantastic belt turner, especially for small EDC knives or kitchen knives. I've used a knife belt, but that's not always the easiest or best way to buckle up, especially since I don't always wear a leather belt. At one point I broke down and spent a few dollars to set aside something for my sharpening kit. That it's double sided is good, but I might have preferred 2 different types/grains (suede/grain side) of leather. I know some people just prefer the gritty side, but depending on what type of knife/tool I'm cleaning I prefer the suede side, especially for carving tools. But even if both sides are smooth, this strap gives my knives/tools a good finish with little effort and honing paste. The wooden spatula itself is strong and not made of plywood but ash. Ash is an excellent wood for making durable items like baseball bats and billiard cues. With proper care/handling the paddle will last a long time which means you will use it for years. If you are looking for value for money, this is something to consider.
