I have decided to send this one back. I gathered all my papaya essence and persistently made endless double torches. After a while, the NAPA set started cracking the eye, which admittedly got a lot of stress. Over time I simply had to return the set I bought locally. So far this set has arrived. NIGHT and DAY are the best set. The threads are thinner. You don't need that much Popeye. The flashes seemed to come out cleaner (considering I was new to double flashes, had some experience and developed the method a bit). Transitions from one process to another were easier. This block is better designed, appears to be made from the best materials and hasn't broken. The pipe cutter isn't as good as any of the hard cutters I have. I ended up using one of mine. Something I've often understood says that the ends of the tubes should be cut square, cleaned of blur inside the tube, and beveled inside and out. one of the pipe cutters. Practice if double bells are new to you. But a wonky flare doesn't have to be due to a non-standard cut. I believe you can achieve the same result if your outer bevel (I filed mine) isn't even all the way around. If you have a heavier walled pipe end segment after beveling it, I don't think you can straighten it with the flare process. There's just too much material. Be aware of the thickness of the stump when beveling the outside. Get it pretty close, even all the way around. Then deburr/chamfer the inside. Great set, great price. good case. Absolute winner. My truck even stops now!
