Review on ๐Ÿš— MagnaFlow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 23896: Standard Grade, Federal/EPA Compliant Solution by Mariealphonse Seattle

Great way to fix an exhaust leak on my 1992 Toyota Previa

I bought this MagnaFlow Direct Fit catalytic converter for my 1992 Toyota Previa LE. The original exhaust flexible pipe failed and there was a massive exhaust leak. The noise was frustrating to deal with, but to make matters worse, the exhaust fumes made their way into the cabin. I could replace the flexible pipe by cutting and welding it on. But the offers I got were for a cut and the welds were enough to make me move to the MagnaFlow straight-fit option. The MagnaFlow package had pretty much everything needed for a replacement. There were exhaust pipe gaskets and even O2 sensor gaskets. I figured the kit didn't include O2 sensor gaskets and bought an extra pair in advance. In addition, the exhaust pipe is perfectly aligned. Another reviewer also mentioned that the MagnaFlow tailpipe bracket that attaches to the OEM exhaust hanger was misaligned. I ran into this too, but I don't think you can deduct a star for that. I actually read this review before I got my MagnaFlow and was willing to bend down a bit to get it to fit. To be honest I just tighten the bolt and nut together and the parts flex into place. So there weren't really any changes I needed to make. The normal installation process eliminated the offset. It has been over a month since I installed the MagnaFlow unit and I have to say it has been a great experience making my car sound like it was originally intended to sound. Overall, I highly recommend MagnaFlow exhaust systems. Their products are of high quality and when I engaged with their support team I received an immediate response. I will have no hesitation in using MagnaFlow products in the future.
