This item adheres with a combination of water and sheer will. There is a smooth side and a textured side. The film everyone's talking about pulls away from the smooth side. This reveals an even smoother side that clings to everything. Use a sponge to wet the window and dampen the clingy side. This will make the clingy side even more clingy, but it will be very easy to adhere to the designated surface. I'd advise to measure and cut to size before removing the protective film.
