Review on 🔧 1" Eureka R Vacuum Belt by 3M - Elevate Your Vacuuming Experience by Dawn Wilson

I have a Eureka model 4870. It's also known as Smartvac, "Boss", "Pet Lover". slight burning smell. I suspected it was the strap and when I removed the bottom panel I found that the strap had started to fall apart. I couldn't find this belt at my local store so I ordered it online. came in a package, in a little cellophane bag. Installation was pretty easy. There were three Phillips head screws (standard 4 point screwdriver) to remove the bottom panel of the vacuum cleaner. The brush roll could then be pulled out and the old belt removed. It was a little tricky fitting the belt over the smaller pulley inside the vacuum cleaner body but there is enough wiggle room to slide and secure it at the end. Then loop the other end of the strap around the brush roll and reinsert the brush roll. Replace the bottom plate and three screws and you're done! The vacuum cleaner works great again. It's also a good opportunity to remove any thread, hair or other debris that may have become tangled around the pulley and belts with the bottom plate off. This should extend the life of your vacuum cleaner and improve its performance. It was a good price and matched the original belt perfectly that came with my vacuum. I would buy again and recommend to anyone who needs a new belt.
