Elegantly simple, durable and travel-friendly, this laptop stand has six recline positions ranging from 10 to 40 degrees. I originally bought this stand because I knew the keyboard had a 10 degree angle. Off-level would make typing much more practical. However, as it turns out, the real ergonomic benefit is for your neck. At 10 degrees, my 13" MacBook Pro's screen is 2.5" larger. This will change the angle of your head enough to tell if your neck hurts or your neck doesn't hurt. Higher angles are too steep for typing, but more screen lift has other benefits. At the highest angle of 40 degrees, the laptop's screen rises 6 inches compared to a flat surface. This makes the game (if you use the mouse more than the keyboard) much more comfortable. Higher angles also give you better opportunities to position the laptop's webcam for video chatting, eliminating that annoying "staring at you" look.
