Review on 🔌 TESmart HDMI KVM Extender: Long Distance 393ft Over CAT5/6 Cable, Compact & Smart, 1080P 60Hz, Easy Set Up & Stable by Carrie Johnson

First this product ruined my network, then I found that the sender with my cable modem and default dhcp server ip address is 192.168.0.1 was in conflict. I swapped out the cable modem and it's working now (video quality and overall performance is great!), which is okay temporarily, but it's a shame this product can't act as a DHCP client somehow on both sides. This contradicts the whole dip switch that somehow sets a fixed IP address for each side, but unfortunately none of that is covered in the manuals. I then tried connecting the transmitter to a different network to see if it would be compatible. It's there by default but was accidentally fried by connecting 12v instead of 5v (same hollow jack with other accessories I used)! Unfortunately I have not been able to repair this transmitter so this product will likely sit in a drawer or shelf for some time for the two reasons above.
