I was thrilled when I bought this product based on the good reviews I read. I was looking forward to a good night's sleep for my 7 month old baby. I opened the box and just pulled out the mattress, already frowning. It was much more difficult than I expected. But I thought maybe it's just in my head. I removed the plastic pad and started to push and push, but it was still stiff, maybe even heavier than the existing flimsy original pad that came with the playground. I couldn't believe it so I took it to my room to compare. Yes! Undoubtedly it was more difficult/harder. I decided to try it with my kid anyway and really hoped it would make a difference. And that was natural, but for the worse. My kid hardly slept on this thing. I kept it for a week to give it a fair chance. Maybe she had a bad night without a mattress. Maybe she's teething/growing, who knows? Until the first night. I will exit the box and update in a week.
