These webcam cases work very well. The first reason I went with this style is because of its design, there was more surface area for stickiness. I've seen complaints of other styles falling off. They held up well and I don't expect them to move on their own. I actually had to take one off my laptop and it took some curiosity. The second reason I chose this style was, that it had ribs on the moving part which, I thought, would provide some support and make it easier to slide from side to side. This turned out to be the correct guess. Happy with my purchase.
