Would like to deduct 1/2 star for slightly oversized tray tolerances but I doubt it will be a problem and I'm picky. Hard drives 7mm, real HDD, SSHD, SSD. For value, I use 3.2TB Firecuda drives for each of these triplets. Forgot to account for gaps requiring special cables, but this adapter fits a standard 3.5" bay. Even those intended for quick release. The "double sided" design or non-polarity of the trays so they can be inserted "upside down" or "right way up" is a smart move that makes this adapter versatile and very convenient. I use their dual 2.5" adapter instead of their single 2.5" tray. This allows me to expand a 4-drive case into an 11-drive case. Ideal for a discrete file server in combination with the LSI00415.
