This floor switch is just what I needed. I wanted to install a direct coupled footswitch to fix problems with the late 90's Explorer gear lever/cable system. They waited and waited and cursed when the regular cable didn't perform as expected. Enter the universal floor switch Mr. Seal. All the work took about half a day. I should have done that many years ago. I like it. What I did not like. The instructions provided a template for cutting and making holes. The dimensions drawn did NOT match the dimensions of the mounting bracket holes. So yes. Now I have an extra hole. OK. I will Holly/Mr. Contact Gasket to inform them of the discrepancy. Either measure the brackets before work, measure the position of the shifter, check the gaps and mark the work and you'll be fine! Have a nice day.
