Review on ACDelco 12609719 Original Equipment Tensioner: Ensuring Optimum Performance by Tom Motko
The original pulley has 3 screws, this one only has 2!
The stock tensioner on my 2002 Tahoe has 3 bolts. There are only 2 in this device. Given that I can buy a 3 bolt part, why buy a 2 bolt part and reduce the strength of the tensioner? It does not make sense. It fits and works, but I don't care about "less" mounting strength of anything, even a belt drive on an LS motor.
