Being new to the whole chalk paint phenomenon I naturally picked up a monster project for my first try. I have a friend who is good at chalk paint and she was suspicious when I showed her this polishing tool. As others have noted in their reviews, the spindle was loose when it arrived. I went ahead and tightened it up and then super glued it on before using it. So I didn't have to think about going backwards. It took a few turns to "tighten" it so it didn't leave swirling marks as I buffed the wax. He lost a few bristles (5-10) over the entire project. However, it made a very large project much more manageable.
