After researching various options and prices I chose this stud finder because it was less expensive but not the cheapest than others. Let's just say it was mid-range, affordable, and had a large display. My previous instrument didn't have a display and I only had to rely on sounds. No longer! The display is large and gives you precise information, such as B. Pointing to the edges and center of the stud. I also liked the fact of easy "automatic" calibration. It's not that I'm lazy, but I don't waste my time and want the tool to be ready to use when I need it. The manual is a letter-size page on both sides and the font size is too small. I had to take photos with my phone and enlarge each detail (e.g. a picture with a description of the functions). The basic operation is very simple: turn on and scan. Only 2 buttons. If you want more, there's a third button that lets you select modes. The difficulty lies in the fact that this device is a powerful scanner that allows you to detect wires and metal. You can even find a nail. However, read the manual and run some tests. I also recommend you to check the description on the Revain site and the photos. The design looks like a "transformer", it's clean and the handle is made of rubber for a comfortable grip. In short, I am satisfied with this purchase and it arrived very quickly (2 days).
