I was a bit skeptical about this adapter due to the relatively low price and several reviews saying they received defective equipment. However, it works perfectly. One of my monitors failed and I eventually determined that the problem was with a faulty adapter. Connect this one here. The monitor immediately came to life. Complete solution. Outstanding picture quality. And it seems to be well made. One reviewer gave it a star because he said it "got stuck" in a port on his computer. It is important to understand that these are locking connectors. There is a torn tab on one side of the connector. To remove a connector, you must click on this tab to release it. This fact is very easy to miss if you are unfamiliar with this type of connector. It's basically impossible to get stuck. It really is good value for money.
