This is considerably heavier than most key fobs with strong, tight springs. It doesn't bother me at all that it opens and loses the keys. It is very functional and well made. The only complaint about it is the coverage. As can be seen from my photos I have used plated metal in the past and I know the plating will peel off over time but I am surprised at how quickly it fades. The coating started peeling off 3 months after first use, although I only carry my keys to and from work and leave them on my desk and counter when not in use. Despite this minor complaint, I would recommend this product to others who are looking for functionality and aren't concerned with aesthetics. Measures approximately 1-1/4" (33mm) wide, 2-1/2" (64mm) long, 3/8" (5mm) thick.
