I bought these to replace my tried and true Shimano road shoes. I wear a size 43 and the Shimano shoes were a perfect fit. These are also stamped as size 43 but are much too big! I took the insoles from my old shoes and put them in these and even then they are somewhat too big.This large discrepancy in size makes no sense.Also, the latch buckles are weak. When I tighten them (due to the aforementioned size issue) they "skip" and will not always clamp down as I need them to. The only solution is to push the strap in while using the ratchet latch.Not recommended
