Let me start by saying that replacing a broken iPad screen is not for the faint of heart. It's very tiring and it's easy to lose patience and just throw everything in the bin. That being said, I took my time (about 3 hours) and thoroughly removed all the old glue from the iPad and cleaned with glue remover and then rubbing alcohol. The frame stuck very well but the screen didn't. I can partially attribute this to the curved corners of the iPad frame, which I had to roll and shape by hand, but even after placing a weight on the screen and heating the edges a bit with a heat gun, I THEN 3- After 4 hours of heating, the digitizer screen was still not fully bonded and easily separated from the device. Piece of case I bought for the block. Like new (just in case!)
