I wanted to wait to review these items until I've done a few batches in the cold to see if they actually dissolve completely or stick to the fabric. I can say with confidence - they work in the cold! I've tried different powders on my zero-waste journey, but they always left dirt on my clothes when I washed them in cold water. I don't live near a liquids gas station, so I tried to at least buy eco-friendly containers, but they still generated way too much waste for my liking. I've seen different types of these sheets and this one was the most economical so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! One sheet is enough, but for heavily soiled or very large loads I used two. I have contacted the company about the date printed on the packaging and this is NOT an expiration date, it is the date of manufacture. I have been told they are good for 3 years from the date of printing.
