I've been using them on my commuter car for over a year now and they haven't given me any problems. In comparison, the Shimano MTB pads I had been using a year earlier left a dusty black residue and tended to clog with metal chips and dirt, resulting in occasional grinding. These Kool-Stop pads (Supra 2, Salmon) never showed any of these problems. In addition, they provided stronger and smoother braking and worked better in the wet (as expected). They also have enough reach to work with old Shimano cantilever brakes from the late 80's and early 90's. In my limited experience with several types of pads, these have proven to be the best so far.
