, I live in a place that seems dusty to me. Add to that I have a 128lb coat machine that sheds enough to cover 2 medium sized dogs a week so this was a must have. I haven't had them in a while so I'll update in a month or so. What I can say now is I was expecting to get some kind of foam or maybe some veil like material but it's all just minor holes but I'm optimistic. If this continues to bother me like you, I can always cut out a few small pieces with a porous sponge to fit the holes. Most of the parts connect to each other and also to the system, but one part on the front isn't flush with the system so it just hangs there, but overall it seems to cover the vents quite well. The connector plugs fit very well, no problem. I don't actually use analog extenders, but when I do, they don't feel flimsy and the grip texture is very good. Put the leg extensions on my console just for show.
