They are better than others BUT they have disadvantages.

After recently learning that another brand of detail brushes had taken a dramatic turn, I gave them a try. The bristles are much better than the ones another company just sent me, although they may not be as good as the original ones I had and loved. Compared to the large originals, these bristles are straight and quite full. These bristles are slightly longer and therefore look a little less full or stiff than the original bristles. they are heavy I believe that the plastic handle adds extra weight instead of the wooden one. If I use it to prepare cars all day, I can feel it. The plastic handle makes it slippery when you get wet and difficult to hold. . This tires your hand very quickly. Wood would be better for grip and weight. I understand what you are trying to do here. Make the best of the best. Well, the functionality/ergonomics of the brushes hasn't really been thought of due to the weight and the slippage of the handle. I would have liked a brush with very full bristles, straight and flat, and a bit stiffer too. just a little, with a wooden handle for weight and better grip. It's a big deal too. Where the handle meets the head. They bent it at the base. This makes him extremely difficult to hold and control unless you just want to hold a thin round handle. You all could fix that pretty easily. Just make it flat, at a 90 degree angle, where the handle meets the base. Then I could hold him right there, put pressure on him and have a lot more control. * Edit any rounded base. If I hold them like I used to do with my originals, which were like a pencil at the base, then that's a problem. But if you put your thumb in the groove and wrap your fingers around the red sheath, you're good to go. In one case your fingers are naturally behind the base and in the other you are holding the red base. personal preference. It's better than the other crappy ones I've gotten recently, but they're not perfect. If you don't repair cars for a living, you probably don't care. But if you do. Then decide if you want bristle quality or easy to hold/use all day.
