Second Update: Wow, I'm really blown away by the quality of customer service. I told them what happened to the brush, they asked for pictures and then sent them another day. What?! There's something about that level of friendliness and support for your product and it just earned them a repeat customer. Update: The handle finally broke. I thought this brush would suit me, but now it's useless. I wanted to love this brush and hoped it would be my favorite brush as I've had terrible luck with paddle brushes lately. ! The gel prevented muscle fatigue in my arms and the brush actually detangled my 4C hair! For 15 minutes after the second use, the gel continued to force the handle to rotate, loosening it significantly and allowing the handle to continue rotating with each use. Then, after a few minutes, the whole part of the brush came off the base. I ended up gluing it to the inside of the base where hopefully it will stay. The grip will definitely become an issue in the future; the brush itself works so well and is so beautiful that you don't want to throw it away, but it has broken before and most likely again.
