Update: After having them for a week and a half. To put it mildly, the more I communicate with them, the more I hate them. The console does nothing. At first it wasn't a problem as I wanted to use them manually. Turn it on and it stays on until you turn it off. Very easy. Yes, it seems to be too much for them. They do what they want, when they want. Turn on and off at random times. They don't stay on when I need light and they don't stay off when I need darkness, like in the middle of the night. If I don't get a refund I'll smash it with a hammer. I don't like these lights that much. The good news is that the lights work somehow. The manual switch works to turn it on and off and it's bright enough, I should have gotten a brighter version but it works. Too bad the remote control doesn't work at all. I even changed the battery. Since the remote control does not work, all additional functions are not available. I can turn it on and off with the physical switch but nothing else. I use a light panel under a closet. The other is above the table top. To add extra light when regular overhead lights are on in the dark areas of my kitchen. An extra will be on standby to replace when the outboard battery runs out. Both locations are within easy reach and can easily be operated by hand. I can't rate the other features as they are only accessible via the remote control, which as mentioned doesn't work at all. No, I will not buy anything from this manufacturer again. While the additional features are not essential, they are useful.
