Edit: After using this mount for a couple of weeks I noticed when I put my camera in a vertical position that the screw tightening the ball mount was incredibly difficult to tighten and after trying my best , it's still not tight enough to hold my camera. Initial Review: This product feels solid and gives you plenty of flexibility to move around your camera with ease. More than high enough to clear any monitor you have. Just combine this with a dummy battery for your DSLR to avoid overheating and you have the perfect camera setup!
