I love these things; They're cheap and do the job, but I'm deducting a star for misleading advertising. The photo shows a man carrying them on his forearms. NO WAY does this fit on a man's biceps. I am a small woman and a bicep bandage will not hold up over a light coat and jacket. I thought it was safe but it fell off twice while cycling. This is great for wrists and ankles, but forget about wearing it on large body parts. The device is simply a strip of clear plastic with a tiny flashlight on one end that illuminates the strip of clear plastic. The plastic strip and the metal strip are inserted into the colored nylon sleeve, resulting in different colors. The light itself is white. Replacing the battery is very easy, just take out the old one and put in the new one. My biggest problem was figuring out how to slide the flashlight's plastic strip out of my sleeve to access the battery! I've tried pulling on the end of the battery, but it's much easier to push on the other end of the plastic strip. Just make sure you're pressing down on the plastic strip (square end) and not the flip-flop (curved metal end).
